Appointment Ceremony of Program Director of TEH

From April 14th until May 19th, 2021 Caritas Cambodia and the local Church able to provide food assistance to 9,000 poor and vulnerable families affected by the global pandemic includes constructions workers, garment factory workers, garbage collector, Cyclo, and moto-dup groups, fisherman people whose living on a daily basis in different lockdown areas of Phnom Penh and Takhmao Town. Very much thanks to our Donors, Friends, and colleagues for your solidarity and kindness during this difficult moment. Our little actions are to reduce human suffering, protecting their rights, and lift-up the human dignity of the poor and needy. In response to the current Covid 19 Situation of Cambodia, Caritas Cambodia and Local Catholic Church provide 4 million Masks and hygiene materials to local authorities, ministries, poorest communities, Parishes in Phnom Penh, Kandal, Kompong Cham, Battambang, Siem Reap, Sihanouk Ville, Takeo, Banteay Meanchey and some affected provinces to combat Corona Virus in the Kingdom. Appointment Ceremony of Program Director of TEH

		MA. Te Serey Bonn is appointed as program director of TEH (Takeo Eye Hospital) after he has been working with TEH for ten years. The appointment ceremony was held on February 13, 2012 at Takeo Eye Hospital and presided over by Bishop. Kike Figaredo, Chairman of Caritas Cambodia, Mr. Kim Rattana, Executive Director of Caritas Cambodia and Mr. Hem Saret head of Takeo provincial health office and Sr. Myrna Porto DC former program director of TEH.

“This appointment ceremony showed the development work of Caritas Cambodian staffs that had been working for 15 years to give hope and sight to the poor Cambodian,” said Executive Director of Caritas Cambodia, Mr. Kim Rattana.
He also thanked to Sr. Myrna that has been taken part in helping all staffs to complete their mission of giving vision to people. Moreover, he hoped that TEH would work more hard to become a best eye hospital. With his bright smile, MA. Serey Bonn thanked to all Caritas-TEH staffs for working hard together. He is very happy that he has been selected officially as the program director of TEH and he strongly committed to improve the quality of TEH’s work. Mr. Hem Saret head of Takeo provincial health office said “TEH is very famous, everyone knows TEH and its best service to serve the patients.” Furthermore, he also shared his happiness with MA. Serey Bonn for getting this precious position.
